Exeter Township May Days  May 19, 20, 21st!

Beginning July 11, at the Trout Run Sports Complex, The Stonersville Flames coaches look forward to teaching your daughter basic and advance skills of Girls fast -pitch softball. Stonersville Flames Inc. is a non-profit Girls ages 5-18, Fast Pitch softball organization that plays in the ASA, USSSA tournaments & Tri County fast pitch softball league. ​Exeter Parks & Recreation will conduct a summer baseball camp Wednesday June 28 to Friday June 30, with instruction by former Exeter grad (78) and YSU Assistant Coach Craig Antush​.


​Starting Tuesday, June 13th at the Lorane Hollow Park Tennis Courts, Exeter Parks and Recreation will have a 6-week Street Hockey Program. The program will consist of 3 weeks of instruction and game experience and 3 weeks of all game play. The program is open to all kids ages 8-14. The Season will run every Tuesday and Thursday from 9-11 am. NO EQUIPMENT IS NECESSARY. The Philadelphia Flyers Organization has supplied us with all the hockey essentials including goalie equipment. You can bring your own equipment if desired.​


​Starting June 6th at Community Park, the Exeter Parks and Recreation Department is sponsoring a 6-week youth basketball league. The program will consist of 3 weeks of instruction and game experience and 3 weeks of league games ending with a double elimination tournament. The program is open to all kids ages 7-10. The league will run every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 6—8 pm. We will focus on the instruction portion of the program for the first 3 weeks, concentrating on the basic fundamentals, (dribbling, passing, shooting, and team play.) The program will also cover game strategy. Players will be placed on teams according to age and ability. We will try and make teams as even as we possibly can. The league will end with the 16th Annual “Exeter Township Tournament of Champions.” We will be limiting the league to 90 participants. Please sign up early!


​Beginning June 12 at Community Park, Exeter Parks and Rec. is starting a 6-week Lacrosse Program. This program will consist of a mixture of instruction and drills to help teach the fastest game on two feet. The program is open to all kids ages 8-13. Over the 6 weeks your children will be involved with drills and instructions. Our staff is comprised of current Exeter High School lacrosse players as well as a few days with the varsity coaches from the high school. Every child will receive a T-shirt at the end of the program. FUN IS A MUST!

The season will run every (DAY CHANGE!) Monday and Wednesday from 9-11am. LACROSSE STICKS ARE REQUIRED. Helmets will not be required but are recommended for the boys. Protective eye wear for the girls! We will have a limited supply but cannot equip all participants. We will not be running contact drills however there is always the risk of stray balls or sticks striking the head.​


​Starting June 5th at Community Park, the Exeter Parks and Recreation Department is sponsoring a 6-week youth basketball league. The program will consist of a 1-week evaluation, 3 weeks of league games and a 2 week double elimination tournament. The program is open to all kids ages 11-15. The league will run every Monday and Wednesday evening from 6—8 pm. We will try and make the teams as even as we possibly can. The first week will consist of drills and pick up games so that we can evaluate talent levels, which will help with creating fair and even teams. All children will be guaranteed the same amount of playing time no matter what their skill level. The league will end with the 11th annual “Jordan Jermacans” Tournament. We will be limiting the league to 80 participants. Please sign up early!

Starting Monday May 8th, 2017 we will be offering group fitness classes for participants of all ages. The cost for each 10 week session is $40, $75 for two and $115 for three. Walk-ins are $6 per class. You may join each session at any time. Space is limited, please sign-up in advance. Classes are on-going and pro-rated; you can register anytime. Exeter Summer Playground Program
June 12,2017 to August 3, 2017
Over the eight-week summer playground program your child will be involved in a variety of theme-oriented activities offered at Lorane Hollow, Community Park, Pineland Park, and now Farming Ridge Park. Each park has scheduled weekly arts and crafts and every week there will be a special event for the children, or even the entire family to participate in.
